The title describes my spouse.He has PTSD from military service. Hewill not acknowledge it in relation to what he is doing.Focusing on news.Good man but I am working on me now. I got into people pleasing doing what he did. I have had to stop . I know he will not. Things are bad but there is no certain evidence this will occur.The process is him getting wired from release of dopamine etc. Sometimes I feel he is not making good decisions about purchases.Any advice is welcome. He is pushing me away.Unrealistic expections

I think you are doing the right thing by focusing on yourself. It is important to feel safe to be able to function.
I am very sorry about your spouse. Military PTSD is very tough and it has such a huge impact not only on those who served, but on their families as well.
I am wondering if "being prepared" is his way of coping with uncertainty.
You have different methods of coping.
Do you have any opportunity to go someplace nice for yourself, like a spa or any special place where you could be by yourself? Any nature areas to go for walks or perhaps women yoga class or something like that...
One of my acquaintances is a doomsday prepper and it is very tough, I try to bring a different perspective saying that different people have different needs and we each do what we feel is best suited in our circumstances. He doesn't push after a certain point but the conversations were very triggering.
Taking care of yourself is the best thing you can do...
Hi Dani, I understand that, I have cPTSD, from an extremely violent marriage, before it was realised that civilians had their own version. Mostly over it now, found ways to cope, but My startle reflex is still extreme. Although not a doomsday prepper, I am a prepper (just in case).
I have already gotten all my Christmas foods and gifts, partly because the inflation rate is high and I worry about the costs of utilities. As a pensioner, we have to keep an eye on it all.
For you, I agree with Nathalie, you need to get some relaxation breaks in, to keep yourself sane, and give you a break from your husband's obsession.
A visit to your doctor might be a good idea too.
