So I don't want to get into too much detail but I witnessed my mom having seizures last Sunday. It is severely messing with me. I can't eat, I can't shower. I can't do anything without feeling weak and lightheaded and feeling like I'm going to pass out. I shake a lot but especially in the mornings. I feel like I can't enjoy anything anymore. I'm on medication but this was too much for me to handle. I don't know how to heal from this, especially physically. I know someone is gonna tell me to rest but I can't when I'm a sole caretaker of not only my stepdad but now my mother.

I’m so sorry. That’s a lot on your shoulders.
When things seem overwhelming, breathe. Slowly. Mindfully.
Take good care of yourself too. Reach out to people around you to see if they can help.
Hi amongthestars104,
This is very scary situation and it is understandable that this has severly impacted you.
I used to regularly witness "life and death situations" of someone close for very many years and it made my PTSD worse.
If you find reading helpful, there is a book called "The body keeps the score" by Bessel van der Kolk. He explains how trauma affects the body, including the nervous system
Perhaps having a few sessions with trauma therapy could help you reduce your symptoms.
You can also look up EMDR, somatic experiencing or TRE as treatment therapies/modalities.
They release the trauma trapped in the body so it might be what you are referring to in "healing the body".
