is anyone else annoyed and angry at the way the world has become digital. i found at now that one program i am using has entered and gotten info from another program i use and is now sending me tons of advertisements. i tried to find an app on my phone for a timer and they all have advertisements. i tried to call my clinic and change some of my info and they made me talk to some 800 number who gave me the runaround for days driving me insane asking for forms, faxes, emails, never ending bullshit to undo something that was done by mistake in 2 seconds by a human, but they wont let a human fix it in 2 seconds. i want to go into the jungle and make a farm and never see apps, and programs and automated messages ever again. this stuff makes me feel like i want to strangle someone. does anyone else feel like this?

I have two takes on this yes stuff like you mentioned is annoying. But on the other hand look at this amazing forum. Look at social media. If we didn't have those things we'd be like past generations totally alone with our struggles so I try to see it like that. Technology is and always has been a pain in some ways though I'll give you that! 😂

yes i was thinking of this group just as i was writing it. when i joined i never could have faced going to a group where people saw me and heard me, i needed the anonimity~still do...and i wonder what this whole digital age will lead to~in a good way. the invention of the printing press led to the renessance and i think sometimes that some similar step is coming with how the media has expanded like crazy in the last decade....today though i was worrying though that it might get worse--the lack of contact, isolation and desencitasation of people with the overload of info and disconnect with nature...that its gonna get crazier-what will they invent next-all of a sudden we live in the jetsons...

Yeah it's not like going to a group where people see you and with the nature of ptsd and abuse that's a good thing. It's not like I'd want this stuff being talked about in public to be honest not the really personal stuff if you know what I mean. Yeah I think Japan has already gone that way with people paying to get friends to go out with they're that isolated. I was talking to a guy from Florida this year and he likes my town as he said you meet people they are friendly unlike say New York where he also lived. So yeah I think it's I don't know society in general really also a bit.

Get it. Not sure when the world will change back to interacting with each other. Slowly weaning myself off social media. Looking for the perfect island to escape to.
