Another police officer shot. This needs to stop! Support Blue!

I completely agree -- it has to stop!!

My early life was spent in fear of the 'men in blue'...they did not come to my rescue and essentially, permitted the torture inflicted on me. However, I have come to know that just like in my profession, there are those that are rotten and others that are golden.

In the recent past, I developed a close relationship with two active and a few retired cops. I even volunteered in a memorial service for fallen officers earlier this year. It was very moving, the extensive presence and show of support.

I know hearing such news can bring personal past experience to the front of our thinking/feeling. I hope you receive support from your family, friends and therapist to get you through.
