Yes it's not a good thing. I don't mind flat racing, but taking horses over those massive hurdles is very cruel! Someone has suggested that he horses should ride the jockeys - that would be an interesting sight!

This is a very cruel sport ! because what people dont realise is many horses get killed and if they have a bad fall they have to be put down!!! so horse lives are lost ! not jockeys ? and when they don,t win races anymore guess what happens to the poor horses ? not many of them get a good retirement ?
while people still bet on horse and dog raceing ? animals still die for sport?
Please think about it ! before putting bets on these poor animals
If people want to race for money , let them but leave animals out of it ??????
