The interview is actually not too bad. I think the JC+ staff are as brassed off with doing the interviews as we are attending them.

They'll just ask you about your illnesses, your medication, what you can do, if you do voluntary work (I got brownie points for being a volunteer on this site lol) - watch out for that one because if it is say working in a charity shop it goes against the ESA rules and indicates you could work in paid employment.

I would take someone with you and dress down - no need for your best clothes and perfect hair and make-up.

I have also been told yesterday that I am also on the work related group, my daughter asked what that meant and they said it means i am not fit for work, i will be on it for 12 month, then be reviewed again. i waited 7 weeks and finally got so stressed wondering if i was going to get post that my daughter called up... yet again for the umteenth time and that is what they said. I gather it means i am fit for some kind of work. ?

What do you mean about the interview.. .. i mean how if i have to go to one of those am i able to get there.. i can't walk to get a bus, stand for long to wait for a bus, etc and how do i get back. Do they pay for taxi's or transport that picks you up and takes you to the door....?

I think the chap at the DWP, that spoke to my daughter on the telephone just said any old twaddle and it means i am fit to do some work. if that is the case, then.....I WILL BE APPEALING AND GOING NOWHERE....!!!

what it means is.They will see if you get better or there is a cure down the road so in the mean time you can still do something to find work if you need to,If you do go back to work. Still trying to understand there meaning as my daughter will not get better but they insist she might.

being in the wrag group means

that with some support ect that you might be able to do some sort of work some time in the future. my daughter went to her wra meeting after her JC+ sent her there and they are fed up with obviously disabled people being sent there. they filled in a questionnaire and he could not do my daughters as he could not truthfully answer any of the questions an when she would be ready to work, she is waiting her medical so hopefully they will put her in the support group. she has 6/7 ops lined up over the next 3/4 yrs!!

I have my personal interview at job centre on monday afternoon. I get low rate dla and am in the wrag group with no medical. This is my second appointment , the first 1 was cancelled on the morning of the interview at which point I was gagging with fear. I have anxiety and depression and scoliosis of the spine. I can feel pressure building up now for monday....I will have to get a taxi there and back . Can they put you in the support group at the job centre? or does it have to be a medical please if anyone knows anything about these personal advisors interviews I would be grateful to know more xxxx
