I just want to ask has anyone ever had esa write to their doctor before I have to speak to one of the practice partners before they will continue to write fit notes for me they gp was a locum really horrible as if I was wasting her time.
The advice at the job centre advice me to go back on esa I did the locum put me off as grieving it's not helpful my fibro had been hell she didn't write that up.
I really don't know what's going to happen.
Thanks of hearing me Hel52

I had a letter from doc's asking me to make a appointment to discuss letter from job centre,I'm very lucky that I have a wonderful doctor who took the time to go through the questions and we filled them in together.
Make sure you try and get the best doctor who you can trust and put down everything that your being treated for and all your medicationsupport.
I hope everything goes really well for you and your esa assessment dose'nt put added pressure on you.
I would make an appointment with a different GP and explain you are there on the Job Centre's advice. If your GP surgery do not believe that fibro is a recognisable condition you can send a Fibro Information Pack from fmauk.org anonymously.
I have read that the DWP rarely ask for the GP report as it costs them £50 a time to do so.
This does mean that the onus is on you to get all available evidence from clinic letters, blood test results, xrays etc.
That's interesting it's cost DWP £50 I get the impression they are not very supportive regarding fibromyalgia I will get a pack sent to them I lost my dad it's been very difficult coping with my home life as well I get on with life as best I can I have told the doctors everything how it was makes good me feel.
I have a phone appointment tomorrow see what he says.
Thank you very much Hel52
Hi Hel52 did you know you are entitled to look at your medical notes whenever you feel the need? you write in to practice manager who will then ask doctor, these days its printed off a modern pc programme as long as you have been with the practice more than 10 years, the old PCT who were banished kept our paper notes that doctors wrote on and filed. You will find out this way what has been "noted" and you can then ask for anything to be added, sadly you cannot ask for anything to be taken off as these are legal documents and only a court can have them altered. Maybe insist on seeing your own g.p next time even if you have to wait, at least you know your consultation will be documented correctly and your current situation dealt with better.
Bluebell99 you must be right about the charge to dwp because funnily enough when i failed my esa assessment my doctor asked why the hell are we filling these forms in and they don't take any notice of the facts..
I'm now going to the tribunal this Thursday feeling sick is an understatement..
I am so genuinely sorry to read this my friend, and I have not been through anything of this nature myself. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck with the outcome and please take care of yourself.
Thank you I spoke to my doctor this afternoon he did receive the letter from dwp he was filling it in said he was aware that the fibromyalgia anxiety depression and chronic back pain and fibro flare ups were making it's difficult for me he's happy to continue with the sick notes the locum doctor was not correct when she said she could write anymore it's all sorted for now I was so worried.
Thank you all for your support it's a great group .
Awww thank you for all your kindness lol I'm now doing my home work to make sure i understand all the questions as brain fog normally takes over and the wrong answers always pops out.
So sorry that some of you are still waiting for letters to pop through the letter box and the stress it causes you it's a living nightmare.
Fingers crossed that your have good news and won't have to fight the dwp.
