What a waste of money and time ....The meeting was cancelled 😡I really wanted it to be over with as not sleeping well because of the worry ....The fog was too dense in Portsmouth for the dr to attend so cancelled ...They said they phoned but nothing was on my phone....

I went for a pip assessment a few years ago as I sat in reception the were leaving a message on my phone to cancel I sat there untill I was seen ,it's so stressful going through all there assessment time it stopped and they took the doctors word for you condition

It's outrageous and there is no recourse. They do as they please. Despicable.

Oh I feel so sorry for you just at a time like this you could have done without it. Are they a load of wimps, you made it so why can't the assessor they make steam come out of my ears. I can remember when I was a supervisor walking 5 miles in blizzards conditions as there was no public transport running and alot was uphill to pay my lads. I don't really know what to say that would be of any comfort to you. I just hope they give you a new appointment straight away.x

That is terrible I bet if you Phd regarding your circumstances you would have been classed as a no show. I hope they take this into account. Xx

Oh I'm so sorry My-chinaman that's dreadful to get all geared up to it & it's just cancelled, such a let down. Let's hope they make another app. Quickly & don't keep you hanging on to much my friend.

I live in Portsmouth and wounded how long they were taking here, they wanted my form back by boxing day.

And where in Portsmouth do we have to go for it.

Hi trace sorry I don't live in Portsmouth I come from Bournemouth I had my letter through forms in September sent them back and got invite letter in October they are faster than last time ...This is my second ESA assessment xx

The doctor was coming from Portsmouth ...Don't know why they can't have one based here in Bournemouth as so many people are on ESA ...

I know last year pip this year esa it's one constant battle.

Sorry yours was cancelled it was foggy here but my sons all went to work ok. Like others said if it was you saying you couldn't make it they w have had something to say.

Hope you get it sorted soon fingers crossed.

You poor thing, I've had 2 postponements with PIP. The 1st was just as I was about to leave my house & it's was because they had realised that their centre didn't allow for recordings!! Considering I had asked them 3 wks prior if they would consent to my recording the assessment, I was devastated, in agony & furious. The next appt they rang me in the morning of the assessment to say their HP was sick (oh the irony!) Now, I've dealt with some very stressful times in my life but this was off the scale. 2016 nearly beat me so you have my sincerest empathy. I was fortunate to be awarded what I consider myself to be entitled to & I truly hope you do too.
