Hello Jue, I am sure many of us can relate to your message, I certainly can! Aches, pains, pins and needles, throbbing, shooting dart-like pains, tingling etc can all be symptomatic of Fibromyalgia. I have shooting dart-like pains through my arms, legs and feet, it drives me nuts sometimes! I went to see my Consultant about it as it was affecting my relaxation and sleep and I was prescribed Methocarbamol tablets, these have certainly helped. I would suggest that you have a word with your GP/Consultant and mention what you are feeling to see if they can help you. It's always worth mentioning symptoms anyway to rule out other things. On a positive note, it's good news that your ECG was clear! I hope you get some comfort for the feelings you have in your arms, take care. :) :)

Jue there are other medications that can help "restless legs", extreme pain, sensitivity etc., so be sure to describe accurately what you are feeling. The shooting pains and extreme heat feelings can be helped - I take two 750mg Methocarbamol tablets when I get to the point where it's too much and within one hour, the symptoms ease. I hope you manage to get some help from your GP Jue, best wishes. :) :)

This is a common symptom with Fibro.

It may be linked with PLMD (Periodic Limb Movement Disorder - like RLS for the arms as well) because both those conditions and Fibro are connected to low dopamine.

But it may also be caused by myofascial restrictions. Myofascial pain is a common symptom with Fibro but it is actually a condition in its own right. It can easily be misdiagnosed as carpal tunnel syndrome when it affects the arms. It needs different treatment - muscle relaxants, possibly injections, stretching and massage.
