I see you are from Scotland where abouts as thats where we are from too the East Coast he is studying at Abertay where were you studying? hope you dont think I am being nosy. Em I would say be organised, especially around the time of essays and exams, definitely helps!

You can have a meeting with enabling support who can put things in place to help you at university, they allowed me to have an extra half an hour for exams, the use of a computer for exams (instead of writing) and a 1 week extension for all my coursework & they helped me apply for disabled students allowance (DSA) who payed for an EchoPen which records my lectures (saves me writing as much), a Dictaphone, Dragon software for my computer (Its a programme that allows me to control my computer by voice), new computer chair and some other bits and bobs! .. they were really helpful so would definitely recommend making a meeting so put somethings in place

Thank you, I have already had preliminary meetings at uni, just waiting on a Dr's note for my DSA. I'm going to be studying a degree in Religious Studies which unfortunately for me, is very academic with lots of written work. However, they have also mentioned the Dictaphone software so looking forward to doing that! I may have more questions if you don't mind the odd message?
