eye changes

hi has anyone else found that there eye prescription has changed due to fm

just been to the opticians and for the first time ever my left eye is worse than my right plus she said the tear ducts arnt working properly due to the medication im on

Check that it's not Sjögren's syndrome and not just your meds. My friend who has FM was diagnosed with that first. It causes dry eyes and her doctor told her that a couple of patients at his hospital have both. Hope it's not but it pays to get it checked out.

hi there.I have found that my eye sight has got worse.Had my eyes tested 12 months ago and just been again and eye sight has worsened.The expense of eye tests is terrible and replacement of lenses.

My eyes have been giving me a few problems lately, so maybe that accounts for it. Do you ever get the feeling 'someone' up there has gone off you?

I agree with Josieb to check it out you can blame fms or meds for everything so worth that extra check ..i have bad sencitivity to light so i walk round like a mole ...look after your self gentle dyslexic hugs

Hi, I have to have my eyes tested every twelve months due to fibro. I have had glasses for ten or so years now but my prescription changes every year and even then my glasses become inadequate after about six or seven months. As soon as I told the optom i had fibro he insisted on the twelve month check as opposed to to two yearly.
