Inflammation of eye muscles

Got sent to my emergency eye clinic today and was told I have inflammation of the muscles in my left eye. Has anyone else had this?

my optician did suggest that fibromyalgia might affect the eye muscles - he asked me to pass on any info I find.

hi i have had iritis which is inflamation behind the eye only since i have had fibro it is extremely painful but not as sore as the injection i have into the eye. they do not know why i get it and it comes and goes luckily been a few months free since my last bout.

I havent had it but I bet it is very painful but when I was at the opticians this week it was mentioned. Hope it settles down soon. Ge tle hugs

I went to the optician yesterday had my glasses checked as havent been able to use them better now. Dont forget to smile guys at every one friday is smile day get those facial muscles working xxgins

I have Graves disease which means my eye muscles don't work together, and have a prism in my glasses to correct my double vision.
