Hi am feeling bit fed up, i now have conjunctivits, on top of everything else, my eye is sore .

and bloodshot. got drops to put in, i have a little lump under my eye, i think its just the eye, xx

Hi, just read your blog, Dnt leave it go get it checked out. Had lots of eye problems over the last couple of years . Infections can't be left in the eye, if you have a lump under it sounds like a collection of the infection . Let AnE have a look or go doctors . Honest have some experience with eye probs . If left it may spread to the other eye . Some conjunctivitis can be contagious to rest of your family . So use a separate towel . Hope you get it sorted . Not a doctor lol , but I know a good bit by experience . X x

hi as its the weekend ( i think ?) you could go to the pharmacy and ask ? could it be a stye do you think, they are painful too

unlikely it needs A&E but best to get it checked by an optometrist/optician - fibro often associated with dry eye which can make you more prone to infections - eg conjunctivitis, blepharitis and/or styes. Opticians are not there just to sell glasses they will advise on general eyecare

Hi I went to the docs recently because I thought I had conjunctivitis turns out I have blepharitis which is inflammation of the eye-lid very similar to conjunctivitis.

You still get the same symptoms but it is excema of the eyes, check with your doctor maybe you have the same as me. I have got eye cream and it works

very well but my doctor says it comes back from time to time.

If you can manage to, better to visit Eye Casualty at your local hospital. I got a correct immediate diagnosis there, after my GP had been treating me unsuccessfully for Conjunctivitis. Don't neglect any problem with your eyes, sadly I can tell you from

experience, it's not worth it.
