I went for an eye test today (not been since 2018). I had the whole lot done, all the tests etc and my fears have been confirmed. Eye sight has gotten worse and therefore need a stronger set of goggles, also my eye muscles are weak and have narrowing something tubes in my eyes. I have been referred for an urgent eye appointment at the hospital within the next 2 weeks as there’s a huge concern and given all of my details and history etc.. it could be MS. I had feared it may be so now the next 2 weeks are going to be incredibly hard to get through as my anxiety level is already through the roof.
I would appreciate some kind thoughts and words towards this way, you guys make me feel better 😊xx

Hi, sorry to hear that, but thank goodness you went for an eye test, the same thing happened to me a few years ago , I went for my regular eye test and they saw something was wrong so I was sent to the eye clinic at the hospital , thankfully after seeing an eye specialist I had the all clear, so hopefully you will too, good luck
Oh sorry to hear, it must be a bad shock for you.It is good that you have an urgent referral so that they can check you out properly and put any necessary treatment in place (if needed).
I hope you can stay calm and think that the positive thing is you went for the test and followup is being put in place.
I hope you have some good support to help you, best wishes xx
Sending you a big hug , 2 weeks is along time when you have something on your mind. I hope your news is good news. Worrying can make you unwell and It’s not easy when you have fibromyalgia sending you our best wishes xx
I’m so sorry to hear about your plight! Hopefully things will get better for you and considering they are giving you an appointment in two weeks; you may find they’ll catch it on time! I recently had a scan done in my eyes and instead of three hernias in my left eye as in April; I now only have one and a very small one. So quite pleased! I have been waiting since April for a specialist in the hospital. Optician said they’re not really concerned about things like hernias in eyes at that size so hence the long wait. I hope your appointment goes well! Keep us updated??? 😊
Hang in there! My friend had a short spell of blindness when she was in her early twenties. Diagnosed with MS. To date, she is still married, has three sons, grandchildren and continues to teach piano. In her mid seventies like me. Still drives. xx
Hi Try not to worry too much. Some eye conditions can come and go especially where ms is concerned. Best to wait until you see the eye hospital. They are very good. Hope it all goes well for you.
