Only a quick one, but really fed up. Last week the boiler leaked water everywhere, now today the washing machine has decided to go Kaput. Can't afford all the repairs.... looks like I'm washing by hand for a while...

oh things always come in threes normally thats what i find anyway bless you i do feel for you , do you have a local paper come evry week through your door we do here and my daughter got a second hand silver machine of a man who deals in them it was £90 delivered plumbed in and old one taken away so may be worth seeing if someone in your area do the same or the yellow paper /e bay or some sights like gum tree have people who practically gives stuff away an dif you are on facebook there is now aforum on there that you advertise your stuff for free i am not on it but my daughter is for our area she made 250 in a week selling household stuff she found a machine on threr it had to be gone that day for 30 pound so jus a thought for you love diddle and good luck with search

I was looking at gumtree last night. I saw it mentioned in a magazine. I'd heard of it but never looked. There was a website for comet which said there is sometimes 50% off clearance-comet.co.uk or currys.co.uk - the clearance tab.

Thanks everyone for your support, I'm hoping that this is the last thing thats going to happen - can't afford anything else - just paid car tax and insurance and for boiler to be sorted, now this.... But hey, at least I have a roof over my head and lovely people to chat to on here! You guys really do help!

I would rather have my cooker broke than my washing machine, especially with five of us, hope you manage to get it sorted soon.

I too have had my car tax on the 1st, then my hoover has gone and now my shower. I struggle with baths,
