Happy new year to you all. But my reason for this is that my whole body is twitching not just my knees. Is this still another one of those things I have to learn to live with

my body switches all over but not at the same time or the same place and has been for years.

When I discussed This with my orthopaedic consultant she wasn’t too fazed and said it was just another part of fibromyalgia.

My partner said it happens even when I sleep🫣

Yes I am just the same, I was so bad last night along with my osteoarthritis in the knees I hardly slept. Even now I can hardly move around as my right leg is killing me.

There is no easy solution unfortunately!

I also haven’t found any reason for the flare ups or changes , we just have to ride it out🫣

Thanks at least I know it's my fibromiagia as when I was younger I had epilepsy and I don't want that back

You should probably get it checked by your gp/consultant as well all know it’s not 1 shoe fits all.🤗

Unfortunately YES, it can and DOES. Just hope you DON'T have any involuntary leg or arm spasms while being looked over by a doctor. Although it could happen and be excused... I doubt it will stand up in court! Of course I joke, I have been a pacifist for 40 years. It never achieved anything and I do find extreme emotional pain far more hurtful (personally) than physical pain. Sadly I do find myself occasionally lashing out with my tongue now while in extreme pain but I am always quick to apologise. I must emphasise that this is RARE, and also to point out deliberately causing pain whether physical or mental is WRONG and UNNECESSARY! (c; happy thoughts happy thoughtsNamaste namaste namaste
