if you google disabled bus pass and click on the gov.uk site it will ask you to insert postcode as all local authorities have different rules. Was you award of 11 for the mobility part.

Sorry that wasn’t very well worded- was your award for daily living or mobility or 11 for both? Pressed send too quickly and without my glasses on🤦‍♀️😂

which component of PIP were these poits for? Care or mobility?

I think you would qualify for a bus pass.

I got a bus pass because of my fybro,

Osteoarthritis and Lupus before I got pip.

In my area, you need higher rate mobility, or a blue badge. You can get a blue badge with 10 or more points in the mobility award.

Congratulations 💖 🎊. Yes, you can as well as a disabled person's railcard, a disabled person's parking badge, etc. To get the disabled persons bus pass & parking badge, just head onto your councils website and apply from there. You'll need a recent picture, and they cost anywhere from £10 each. It's worth it for the bus pass, as it lasts around 4/5 years Beware, though, as you can't use the bus pass until after 09.30 am. Don't forget to sign up for your free local supermarket mini bus that gets you to your local supermarket free of charge. You'll get a letter with your individual member number as well as a number to call and book your place on the mini bus. There's drop off and pick up places that shouldn't be too far from your home. Unfortunately they have their own set times but its a good way to get around, meet new friends, etc.

Other concessions for disabled people can vary from region to region, so check it out on the Internet. Some you'll see on the back of your Pip award notice letters.. . If they still do that, of course. All the best & massive congratulations again as I know it's very hard and complex to get the award. I'm so happy for you! All the best 😍

You're more than welcome, and I hope you have a blast celebrating 🍾 💗 Have you tried paying for your dental treatment yearly? I think it's called the hospital fund & you just pay that 1 off amount, and all treatment is included. I'm not sure how much it is, but last I checked it was £150 quite a few years ago. Some get it every 6 months but it costs more. I hope this helps, but I'd check this issue out with your local Citizens Advice. If you're getting ESA (Employment Support Allowance) for those that don't work, the treatment is free. Even so, I'd still call your dentist and query their concessions if they have any as I'm sure I've seen Pip listed on the forms I sign to get free treatment due to being in receipt of ESA . Fingers crossed for you to get all you deserve and are entitled to. 😍

Hi Broomhill2016,

Don't forget You can also claim for a 50% off your car tax if you have one of course,

I get it free, It is very welcome in my house 😀😀 you might want t photocopy your entitled letter a few times because whatever your claiming for reduced anything, You will be asked for it so they know you are entitled and not telling porky pies,

Go on-line to see what you can receive help for,

Well done and take care

Debs 😀😀
