Awarded PIP

Hi all,

I feel so relieved today. I checked my bank account and there is a lump sum in there from the DWP. I am not sure what rates I have been awarded as I have not had my brown envelope yet. I’m just so relieved I have been awarded something 😊. Been dreading their decision since my telephone assessment on the 6th May. Hope everyone is doing as well as you can be, very hot today x

Oh no, have you got someone to be with you. My husband was there and although he was not able to say much, it was just nice to have some support. Good luck, I hope you get something out of this xx

That's wonderful news for you! So happy for you, I remember when I had my first award of PIP, I was so elated. xx

Well done Blue , I would ask for a copy of your assessment and then you know what's what . Your brown envelope should be with you soon to tell you how you scored.

Congrats

Post is really slow at the moment. A first class mail can take more than five days.

DWP have had my forms for about a year now or more and still now sign of the brown envelope.

Still not sure if that is a good thing or not.

Oh well it will come when it comes.

I have had my letter this afternoon. I had 12 points for Daily Living so awarded enhanced rate and had 10 points for mobility, standard rate. Didn’t give me any points for planning journeys because the assessor said I was calm and relaxed on the phone and vert alert. She also said that my cognitive function was fine so I can go from one place to another. Disappointed I didn’t score points for that as that is something I cannot do! I am happy to at least get something snd have it until Nov 2022 xx

If its 235 then your on the lowest rate just for the support if it's more then you get the full mobility pay

Thank you 😊. Yes Wendy please reapply. It us very stressful going through the whole process and I don’t think I could have done it without the help of my husband and Benefits and Work website. Their information helped immensely, taje a look x
