Yes I had it and although I became negative early on I still felt quite ill. I developed a very chesty cough, phlegm and head congestion . Sometimes a very sore throat too. I’m in my 5th week of this. I am getting a bit better but so many people have this at the moment and it’s taking a long time to shift. I had one lot of antibiotics which didn’t really do anything so I assume it’s just viral.
hi geeforce99, im 4 days positive with covid. Started 4 days before that with really sore throat & negative. Got horrible cough with phlegm now. When i do anything i feel shattered after. This is the 4th time ive had covid now and each time it wipes me out and takes weeks to get back to normal.
Thank you for your reply, sorry hear you’re sick again with Covid yer I slept 13 hours and just had breakfast now going back to bed as you say wiped out. Dizzy and sick feeling comes and goes I hope you feel better soon take care 🙏
After struggling since early December with struggling to breath fully and being totally exhausted, high temp, generally feeling awful finally ended up in hospital for tests and the consultant told me they were convinced it was covid despite testing negative for the whole month. Apparently old tests aren’t picking up new variants. Starting to come out the other side 5 weeks later but is a long haul
Thank you for your reply and glad to hear you’re improving, did you have the covid vaccination recently? It does not seem to protect us folk with autoimmune issues.
