Good morning to the whole community. I would like to ask this: in view of the poor etiopathogenesis of fibromyalgia, do you have useful information in your country about the administration of the anti-Sars-CoV-2 / COVID-19 vaccination? In Italy there is some confusion on the part of our GPs and of the specialists we refer to for fibromyalgia, rheumatologists, algologists and neurologists, we do not have a certain answer on the administration of the anti-Sars-CoV-2 / COVID- vaccine. 19. How are you regulated in this sense? Thank you for your kindness.

Fibromyalgia and anti-Sars-CoV-2 / COVID-19 vaccination
In the USA, patients with rheumatoid diseases including fibromyalgia are strongly encouraged to take the COVID-19 vaccine. I had no flare or other issues with Pfizer shot.
I don't think the medical world has even considered many illnesses individually in the UK. Because fibromyalgia isn't considered to inhibit our immune systems we're supposed to ok for any vaccine. My mother has polymyalgia and is on immuno suppressants and was still given the vaccine. My oldest friend has ALS, lupus, stage four heart failure and fibro amongst other things, she got offered the vaccine but none of her doctors are prepared to say whether she should have it so she has decided to delay it for now.
I have lupus, stage 4 renal failure and fibromyalgia. I am on immunosuppressants. I had had my first dose of the Pfizer covid vaccine in December with no adverse effects at all. I am expecting my second dose in March and have no hesitation in having it.
Throughout this pandemic and development of the vaccine there has been nothing to suggest that there was anything that would distinguish someone with fibro from someone who did not have it. All the evidence is pointing to the vaccine being safe for all with very few side effects.
thank you very much
My muscles in my neck were worse after the jab, and didn’t feel better for a week. But there’s no way I’m not having it. I had covid last March and that was 1000% times worse and my fibro with covid was a lot worse than when i had jab done! Definitely have it done it’s worth it. X
Hi, had the Pfizer vaccine, just a sore arm, felt ok.
I had the Oxford vaccine 6 days ago. The only thing happened to me was a headache from hell and my whole body was in agony for two days and nights. I don’t know if it was the vaccine or just very bad flare up. But will know when I have the follow up vaccine.
