Does anyone else get a burning in their foot ? Thx
I have fibromyalgia & it’s getting worse
Yes mostly at night and both feet all over. Been told by gp it's neuropathy
Yes have had it for years. Now got to the point where i can not go out with out no one as i can not get back home. So damn painful. Have has in feet for a lot number years. Though i have it all over body.
I’ve been getting this quite often recently more so of a night time. Feels like they’re on fire, tingly and throbbing. Makes my legs and feet really restless 😞
Yes I get this like my feet are on fire also like walking on really hard rock.
yes I do on and off. I also have cold legs bum and feet and when I go to bed the top of my legs are on fire yet from my knees down they are freezing it really does my head in. Fibro is complicated with what symptoms you have
Yes my heels burn a lot of the time, especially the left one but I don’t really know what to do about it. Any suggestions welcome, thanks
hi, my Mum bless her used to have this for years. The only way it would ease would be for her to not eat certain things that we would consider to be more acidic. I know that isn’t much help but I just think maybe it would be a good idea to start keeping a note on a daily basis to see if you can rule out certain food groups 🤔it used to be very painful for her so I hope you can find something to get some relief from this🤗
I have this over the bottom of both feet and it's worse at night. I've been told it's nerve pain as I sometimes have it in my hands. I go to sleep with a cold pack between my feet and that really helps me. So maybe worth a try if it's practical.
hi does anyone else have a sore throat taste of metal after meals throbbing throat just on one side ? Thx
It's called erythromyalgia, it's a neuropathic problem and is often worse at night. Triggers include caffeine, alcohol and certain foods. Medications such as gabapentin and pregabalin can help it. I have lidocaine infusions every 6 months for mine but that is a bit of an exception to the rule but I have other pain issues so my consultant is happy to do it.
Sleeping with your feet outside the bed sheets can help. Putting ice or anything too cold on the feet can actually make it worse so that is best avoided.
Neuropathic pain is very hard to treat and it's also about getting a fine balance of medication if you choose to go down that route. Some lifestyle changes can help.
