Burning feet

Hi. I have burning feet back after it leaving me for almost 3months. Its like electric shocks in my toes and am exhausted walking. Its one of these symptoms of fibo that no one understands how bad it is unless you have experienced it. Cold water feet in basin and hot baths helps but it comes back. I use foot cream and I am not sure if reflexology helps or not to be honest. But I go anyway and pay for it. The last time it went on for months. I hope its not as long this time. Maybe as I know more about it this time might help. Here's hoping

I get constant burning feet, have yet to find anything that really makes a difference. Cooling sprays etc only provide short term relief

Yes I agree its only short term relief. I dont know if I am wasting my money on reflexology to be honest

Only thing I’ve found that helps are gel insoles. I buy them from Superdrug ( own brand)

I get burning sensation in my feet and toes. Two of my toes feels bad it is as if someone is stubbing out their cigarette on them. To date nothing relieves the pain. I am on MTX, Steroids, Morphine and others. I hope you find something

Oh goodness, that sounds terrible. I used to have burning feet and I used to use a cooling gel - which did help. I use a heat gel to help heat up my legs as they are always freezing cold.

I hope it passes quickly for you

I get this too for no particular reason. Really painful and wakes me up at night. Seems to come on when I get warm. I use a gel filled pillow which helps a bit.

I have this too but it's worse at night. I go to sleep with a cold pack jammed between my feet.

I am suffering dreadfully with the burning feet can’t sleep ... ice packs in bed, hot water bottle filled with iced water of course taking gabapentin no use whatsoever. Having a video call with neurologist this week so we shall see!

Could this be anxiety? I am 37 years old and started getting burning feet n palms due to googling too much health issues on Mr Google. I convinced myself I had diabetes which i didn't. Anxiety can cause burning feet as it changes the ph level of blood n your body takes blood away from your feet to other vital organs. It's the fight or flight scenario. If you don't have any medical conditions it could be caused by anxiety. My neurologist told me mine was caused by anxiety .

Electric shocks i can relate to. So so painful and they come out the blue.

I think my amitriptyline was upped. Cant quite remember as i was always getting the Dr to play around with meds.

Just looking down the comments and i agree decent gel insoles i have in everything now.

Was using a pain pen last night that may help short term. Similar to tens machine. Again in the comments a cigarette burn is very similar to how id descibe that at times when going along my arms. Worse thing about this condition is having it and still not understanding it half the time.
