Good morning. Did the past few weeks my feet have been painful. Now just the left heel and back part of my foot. Do other people get this? I don’t know if it is fibromyalgia or something else. That’s the problem with having fibromyalgia, I’m never sure if the pain is fibromyalgia not.

Painful heel
I have pain in both heels and have put it down to having fibromyalgia, it also is in my legs above my heels
Is it all the time? Mine started in both feet and I felt like they were on fire. That lasted a about a week, now the pain in the heel. So the pain doesn’t last forever, it goes to somewhere else in my body. Is this this the fibromyalgia? I get burning in my thighs often. Thanks for your reply. It’s so good to know I’m not alone.
Hello JUNGLE_bunny123. I too suffer from heals, toes and ankles all in pain. It's like walking on a pebble beach with a sprain feet. If that is possible. I thought it was my Psoriatic arthritis. I never thought it could be fibromyalgia, which I also have. I'm just sick of being sick. If that makes sense. My walking is terrible and all painful, and I just can't wait to get home, and take my shoes off. I prefer to walk bear foot, even in the garden.
I have pain in my heels and ankles too but put this down to being overweight but now others with fibro are saying it maybe it is fibro. or it could be down to a host of other things as I haven't always had it.
It is I think actually in relation to toxins building up in the body and being transported by the blood to an area which is lowest on the body. This may seem strange but mine was definitely relieved when I lay on the bed with my legs up against the wall after reading that the blood flowed back around your circulatory system by doing this. It also seems better by the simple act of drinking more water than normal hoping that the water we're drinking isn't contaminated with too much chlorine, that is!
I've recently been diagnosed with plantar fasciatis after assuming the pain was due to fibro for months. So well worth getting it checked. I have podiatrist this week to see if there is anything can be done to help x
It could be plantar fasciatis I had a heel spur and it felt like I was walking on glass. It rights itself in the end but takes time.
healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., hello there, someone just said like walking on pepples that’s a good description I think. I have like yourself im sure have to look at comfy footwear, barefoot is nice indoors , Epsom salts in a bowl is heaven , pain relief gel is a must , some warm continuous weather might be helpful but hey ho it’s raining again and damp seems to aggravate my fibro.x
Yup, wake up with painful heels,I assume it's pressure from the mattress
Hi I wake up each morning with burning heels and they are like that for the first 2 hours after getting up. I have tried to look up what it could be or if it was associated with the fibro, but I can't find an answer. Hope you find some ease xx Kitty
