I get really bad right foot pain, it's currently on ball of foot cos I went to town, another day it could be my Achilles heal, it can swell up, mine doesn't go way and mine when rested eases a bit, but soon as I start walking it starts again, read my blog "bad foot," someone suggest apple cider vinegar , il give it ago, bad foot pain sucks!!!!
5yrs now of foot pain, it started like i had a piece of glass stuck in my left foot, sole. over the years it esculated where i get severe shooting pains and it has spread to the other foot, the shooting pains go up my legs etc it took 5yrs after so many tests for a doctor to tell me it was small nurve fibure neropathy, app it involves damage to the small nurve fibures, google it and see if it relates to what you feel.
If you've gone through the whole list of what it might be Larissa and you still don't know what's causing the pain, please see your GP. Foot pain is very debilitating, you don't need it on top of everything else.
I have burning hot heels as a Fibro symptom, my heels feel like they're on fire and yet are cool to touch. I rest them on a memory foam pillow when I'm sitting in my chair watching tv or on my laptop.
I hope you get on well at the Doctors, please let us know how it goes, take care.
Hi there. I have something like that. After resting I find it really hard to start walking again. I look like a little old woman. My lovely Dr told me it was plantar fasciitis. The plantar is the muscle in the heel and can get inflamed. Mine happened after my back op when I stared to walk properly again. You can get insoles from the chemist but it is a very very slow process to take the pain away.
Hi I think pink pig might have hit on the answer your symptoms sound just like my best friends husband foot and he was diagnosed with plantar.... Very painful and takes a long time to heal.. Though he has other health issues too but yes go back to your gp... Mention plantar because of all our other symptoms the most obvious tends to get overlooked
for ivervten years inhave had pain, not on the base of my heel but around the back, I can'ypt wear closed in shoes any more, apart from trainers that my OH has to put on for me and they have elastic laces for flexibility (they look just like the real ones luckily)! but i put all the the pain on the back of my heels down to having blistered annkles and heels ver ten years from I'll fitting shoes.
I remember being in a shoe shop once being told by the assistant oh it s normal to get blisters before your shoes artwork in..... like hell it is and walked out. it annoys me they only make two style f shoe... social led fashion ones that have no support and last all of two wears, or frumpy looking ones. having small but wide feel ts hard to get shoes that are comfy but if I go into a shoe shop I expect better advice than that.
just a thought have you tried Arnca gel or cream. it's supposed ti be good for bruises but might help. ts a homeopathic remedy a nd is quite safe, but unfortunately doesn't work on everyone.
we bought some arnica gel from QVC and ts been great, especially stops bruises fully coming out and cannhelpmwith arching muscles,
IT sounds like Police mans foot planter facilitis make sure you don't walk on solid floors too much always wear slippers with slight heel and get extra thick soft inner soles. do so feel for you have suffered myself, pain will soon go take care.
thankyou, and the pain has gone now !!!! thank god for that ! going to get some insoles though incase it returns , it lasted for atleast a couple of weeks ! it was so painful .
