I am struggling with restless legs it used to be at night but it is also in the day now, it results in tiredness and I’m irritable. Does anyone have advice please ? I’m struggling to focus when I’m at work and wanting to sleep more
I already take duloxetine sertraline and amitriptaline

Not sure which of three things I use has worked, perhaps the combination but haven't had the problem for a year or more.1. An electrical foot stimulator
Hi..I suffered badly with this through the night but it's only now and again now. As i'm sitting I regularly through the day move my feet usually in a figure of eight. I also eat a banana every day..alledgedly there's something in it that helps. My feet get very hot so I have ice gel slippers (Amazon) which are kept in the fridge/freezer. No weight can be put on these so just slip on while sitting or when in bed. Hope you get it sorted as it's very dipilitating
hi similar problems so changed amitriptyline to nortriptyline solved the problem I take 6 x 10ng a day if needed still sleep well and it manages my pain, sertraline are very good but don’t ever try coming off without a doctor!! Massive headaches etc xx good luck
I believe Magnesium to be useful, but I only get restless legs if I've been very inactive in the day. Bit of a catch 22 if you're unwell or in pain during the day. I also find leg stretches and exercises help that were given me by pain management/physio.
hi, non of these meds work for me. I had given advice that just do what I can cope and leave the rest. I mostly unable to move at all. Just take cocodamol and apply voltrol gel.
My advice? Look to if your B vitamins are lacking? B12 particularly can go missing with a limited diet, Veganism, and age. Also, alcohol can use up B vitamins, so if you are restless after drinking alcohol, maybe lay off the sauce and see if it helps? No judgement, just its an observation. You don't need to drink much for the effect if you are sensitive.
As always before gobbling up any supplement or medication, do your research.😁Good luck. Restless legs are no fun!
I was on sertraline and amitripline but my dr took me off them and put me on duloxetine 60 mg. They haven t reay helped me as im going to phone my dr to get them strengtned. I still cant sleep and my anxiety and depression hasn t got any better. You need to phone your dr and tell them how you feel.
Hi, you will find many ads for these circulation foot systems in magazines and I would think Boots would stock them. You place your feet on them and they give you a minor shock/buzz which helps with blood circulation.
