Hello everyone, hope you're trying to be positive and taking each day as it comes.
I have noticed lately and increasingly that I have a burning sensation in both feet that spreads up my leg's. I've had this for a while depending on what I'm doing ie standing too long. But lately I'm waking up with it. My feet and legs feel like burning trembling...... things!!! I don't know how to describe it. It makes me feel shakey all over and often dizzy. Does anyone else feel like that or am I just going crazy π€ͺ π€

Hi π Sleepynoggin. I have started to experience burning type sensations in both my hands and feet but not in my legs. I also get the vibrations some people have mentioned on here and a kind of internal tremor. When I'm in the shower, the water feels like hot but icy prickly on my feet. It's difficult to explain really. For whatever reason, mine tends to be at its worst in a morning? I'm also experiencing foot pain in my right arch the last 6 weeks or so. There is no shortage of symptoms and surprises with Fibro is there.
I know what you mean about no exact words to describe it. What you did say, that hit the nail on the head for me was internal tremor that's a perfect description. What is the cause of that, any idea?Thank you for your reply. Wishing you well x
Oh I wish I did. I experience it a lot. From other forums I've been in and stories I've read, I believe it is because our muscles are tense and shorten, which puts a strain on our muscles? How true that is I really don't know. Often I get it in my arms too π€·ββοΈ
Interesting you say that. I used to live with someone who had CP and on my bad days, I wouldn't be able to move my feet and they would get stuck in a pointed form. My friend would get my feet and start trying to bend them. He would be so surprised that it would be that bad, but also things in common with CP. I think about that once in a while. Scientists just need to keep going with research.
Yes I get burning hands and feet. I find if the water is too hot it gets worse. Also get very shaky and the internal vibrations. All very strange symptoms
I have had this for many years and it is one of my most hated symptoms qnd the first symptom Iwent to my doctors with. It was quite a few years later when the full gamit of fibro symptoms started..
Have you ever been tested for lack of iron? I only ask as my doctor said in some cases thus can be the cause "Some research suggests that low iron causes restless leg syndrome. The condition is described as burning, tingling, or feeling like you have insects crawling around inside your legs."
I often have the restless leg thing when I have too much salt. I think only added salt, too. But, adding salt to potatoes doesn't bother me. I think that might just be slowed absorption. But, salt can do some things to me, like keeping me awake all night. I'm sensitive to so many things now. I've kept a food diary for a few years now. I'm on here leaving a topic about FODMAP and moving forward from it. On FODMAP, you gave to watch you're getting all your nutrients. Vitamin D is a big one. I'm rambling. I'm probably dehydrated from bathroom issues. TMI Too Much Information...if you're not in the U.S. π I wonder what other countries say when someone gives too much personal information. We just walk away, we're so rude...lol
I too suffer from hot, burning hands and feet. Feet get too hot, especially in warmer weather and would get really restless. I bought a JML gel cool pillow that is meant for your head but I put it at my feet. I have found that it really does make a difference with cooling my feet and legs so they don't jump about so much. You can put it in the fridge before bed if you want it colder too. Hope this helps.
