Hello , for some I read that gentle exercise and warmth can be helpful with their fibro then others have said they feel worse after doing light excercise in the pool, I suppose it’s what works for you and finding something to suit, people try yoga, gentle stretching, walking, very hard to get the balance right for us fibro s and frustrating at times xx

Thanks for replying as all is a learning curve it was worth a try I think this might be the worst flare I had

I had hydrotherapy for a while but it often made me worse. I do intense exercise now which actually helps but I appreciate this is not the usual path for fibro sufferers.

I also just came back from holiday, I was supposed to be scuba diving but was pretty ill the whole time I was there, actually lost weight 🙄.

Perhaps, as it was a warmer pool you overdid the exercise. It's something I'm guilty of.

Try not to do more that you would in the cooler pool, until you get used to it.

Cheers, Midori

My niece has got a hot tub and I have been using it once or twice every week over the winter. It feels great when I'm sitting in it, almost pain free 😌 Unfortunately, alot of the time after I get out the pain comes back with a vengeance. It's not always like that but more often than not. I really thought it would help.

Hi Ribes I would love a jacuzzi but also have lung problems so can’t I can’t get in bath so stand under hot shower for as long as I can it helps for as long as it lasts. Summer on its way hope it helps
