Over they last 18 months I have made some great friends o tis site and for some reasons they seem to all have disappeared. To be honest I didn't post an awful lot other than when I was having a really bad time, but they responded and cheered me up when I needed understanding and support. Other than that I loved reading their posts which were quite often informative and entertaining, and I felt we were all helping each other. I am a tehno luddite so don't really understand what has happened but it seems odd that all my 'friends' have stopped posting all at the same time and nothing has been posted as to why. Any info would be appreciated.

Just saying hello!
Hi ShelWhitt I am still here reading the posts and have noticed that too. Most of the posts are from newbies. Now and again I spot Momo and honeybee. Desquin our admin still around and occasionally Ajay. Hope you are as well as you can be sending gentle hugs xx MistyA
You would definitely spot me today. I have my dotted top on LOL, 😘
🤣
Hi Mistyang. Glad it is not just me! Good to hear from you. Not too bad here, considering! Sunshining to day, which always helps. TAke care. xx
I’m still here as is my partner in crime mattoid-Mags - the comedy duo are very much alive although probably not kicking otherwise we would end up flat on our faces😂🤣😂
Yes, noticed that too, only a few regular ''faces'' seem to post or reply these days, maybe lockdown has not helped? 🥰
Hi, that's just the nature of forums im afraid. Folks just move on for many different reasons. Some only post when they are not feeling good. Others may stay away when they are going through tough times. There is many reasons why people just fade away.
I would like to think regular posters dont post because they are in a good place health wise, 😊
Momo
You've hit the nail on the head there Momo. I tend to disappear when life gets tough and believe me it's been exceptionally tough this last year but onwards and upwards - I can't stay down for long - I'd never get up🤣😂🤣
Personally my daughter is struggling with her health and has four children, I have had to grit my teeth and help out but this week its sending me into a flare. Been sent to physio for my shoulder pain but it makes me feel worse. So less time for forums apart from a quick read. The children all in school today so back home and put the washing machine on. I feel tired at the moment. Sending hugs to you all today gentle ones xx
Sending hugs.Take care. xx
Hi Shelwhitt,
I think it might have something to do with the holiday season (I can't quite wrap my head around the whole idea, as I've been locked down for so long).
There has been quite a bit of Trolling, so it could be something of that nature too.
It's been a very strange time.
Cheers, Midori
Afternoon, yep still here must be over 4 years since I became a volunteer and been on the site even longer, try pop on when I can , juggling some childcare with hubbie for the little grandboys so do get tired/achy but lovely . Yes English holiday season , weather a very mixed bag though , lots of hugs xx
It has been lovely to hear from you all. Over the last 18 months, I too have had some really bad spells, as you all know and haven't spent a lot of time posting. In fact not many good spells, to be honest. Apart form our health problems there has been so many other 'trivial' day to day problems to deal with , at times I have been overwhelmed , totally shattered and have shed a lot of tears. I haven't been quite so bad recently, so I have decided to take us away, for a few days. Not sure it is all together wise, but I desperately need a break. There is no one else to do it, so my logic is I might as well be feeling unwell and caring for DH at the seaside as at home. At least it is a change of environment and out of the four walls. Fingers crossed it all goes to plan. Will let you know how it went, when we get back! xx
Im new to the group and have started to feel like im not alone anymore. So hello from me to you x
