Well, what a Silly Billy !! Moving into the house next door, because of Covid cannot get anyone to help. So my daughter and I have done the job ourselves. I thought I would be clever and do something constructive whilst my daughter was busy. I know ....move a metal filing cabinet outside.... going great...then decided it was at the wrong angle to go through the front door. Calamity struck...it went another way and fell on my foot. Photo shows the results. Plenty of Arnica and extra pain relief for me. Just tender and a bit tingly. Don't think I have broken any bones.

Ouch! Oh that looks so sore, we never learn do we? I prescribe lots of preferred beverage & plenty of cake/chocolate (for shock) of course 🤕🤗
Ouch looks painful, well done for giving everything a go even though you did come off a bit worse, I hope you settle in okay x
Thank goodness you have some Arnica in stock. Hope you have put your feet up for the rest of the day. There are plenty of tomorrow’s for anything else that needs doing.
Ouch I hope you can carry on with your move. Hope you are able to rest it soon. If it gets worse please seek medical advice. Ouch a couple of years ago my daughter did something very similar, she bruised most of her foot at work. A mettle shutter slammed down on her foot. Hospital couldn’t believe she hadn’t broken anything. Take care and stay safe.Hugs.
I dropped a heavy paperweight on one toe in 2018 & that was more than enough discomfort. I really feel for you.
I self referred myself to Physical Therapy & didn’t regret it. Where I live most P.T.’s have at the least a masters degree however. Due to corona my last P.T. visit earlier this past week (for another matter) was via doxy.me, & to my great surprise it was helpful.
Earlier for my foot mishap I was given three (limited) strengthening exercises. They included toe curls. For cardio bike had been recommended. The therapist had done a lot of foot massage. I think this was because my toe had frozen a bit & lost range of motion. It did/has returned to normal function.
Looks painful, and really should have an xray. the foot bones are fragile, and a metal filing cabinet is heavy.
Don't take the risk , please get it seen.
