I'm English but live in Holland. Have had pain for years, slowly getting worse.
Hospital says it's arthritis. My daughter thinks I have dementia and I'm pretty sure my husband is wondering where his wife is.
I actually catch myself thinking I would be kinder to him to just bloody die. And to myself too. I take 1000g paracetamol And 1000g ibuprofen, this quiets the pain for a while. I work physical, go to gym ,have dogs. So I'm not lazy.
My husband is doing the shopping at the moment, I just couldn't muster the energy.
I wish it would stop.

healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., hello there have you been diagnosed with fibromyalgia ?? You sound like you are pushing yourself quite hard with going to the gym and also you say your job is physical, this sounds quite a lot especially if you think you have fibromyalgia ,yes you would be in a lot of pain pushing your body through this and with arthritis as well. I’ve posted a link above if you would like to lock your posts, I’m sure your family are quite concerned about you, getting the right help to get you through this and a good chat with your doctor how you are feeling right now, xx
Hoi, I haven't been diagnosed. I have an appointment in may with rhuma doctors. I hope then for answers but when I read about it, I wonder if there's any point. They can't stop the pain.
Glad you have an appointment, either they or your doc can start you on pain meds sometimes trial and error but finding something to help you, I’ve had to give up gym etc as made things worse with the pain side even my swimming I’ve stopped at the moment I really miss that , it does get to you i totally get it, I do get frustrated about what I can and can’t do.
