Hi Babylons think this might be nerve ends being sensitive x
Yes. The last 3 days it hurts to touch my skin , even clothes hurt. sleeping is a nightmare. My doc said nothing they he can do about it . Our youngest granddaughter have me a hug yesterday and said sorry because she could see i was in pain. 😢
I know exactly how you are feeling Yvonnekate, I have a 5 year old daughter and having to explain to her that Mammys skin is so sore for her to touch or hug is heart wrenching, My doctor says it’s Allodyne which is a side affect of Fibro the only thing that helped me was Amitrytiline but unfortunately the side affect was to much and I had to stop taking them, now all they do is keep increasing my Gabapentin and Tramadol which is not helping 😭
Yeah, all the time. Feels like a really bad sunburn.
Absolutely, only the sunburned feeling has only happened to me 3-4 times, and lasted about 10 days each time. Each time it was only in one quadrant of the body.
Yes, I get it spasmodically. Sometimes it is in big patches in different parts, other times it is all over and it hurts to wear clothes. I go to a local Fibro group and they say dont touch unless you know its ok or have permission!
Hi babylons .Yes I have had it very badly but its much less now. Its called Allodynia. I was prescribed Pre GAbilin which is for Neuropathic pain. It really helped.
I'm on a crusade here but CBD oil is becoming marvellous for all my types of pain. I wont harp on as I'm becoming a one trick pony!!! But please look in to it. Theres already lots of questions and answers on here.
Thanks for the info, yes that’s what my doc said it was, the only think that helped was Amitripryline but I could not take it for the side affects now all he does is increase my Gabapentin and Tramadol which does not seem to help......this CBD oil where do I get it from and what is it exactly?
CBD oil is Cannabinidiol oil. It is derived from the Cannabis/Hemp plant. BUT there is minimal THC, the hallucinogenic, in it so it doesnt get you high and is perfectly legal in the UK.
We all have an Endocannabinoid system which affects every system in the body. PAin, Mental health, digestion etc. The CBD oil combines with the Endo C receptors and helps kick start them into doing whatever they do.
You can buy CBD oil from many reputable web sites. Dont go for AMazon or Ebay as there are some scrupulous sellers who will sell you Hemp cooking oil!. Look for the sites Lab reports.
Some recommended ones are Simply CBD, CHeds, CBd Bros, Love Dutch CBD.
It can be administered under the tongue, by spray, capsules (which are the worst for absorption), Vaping.
There is a way to start CBD oil and rules for medication interaction but I'll let you search this web page.Theres loads of advice. If you're on FB the join CBD users UK
