These are all the tablets I take amitrptyline 50mg methocarbamol 3 times a day, pregabalin75mg 2 per day, methotrexate 10 per week, folic acid 1 per week, Co codamol most days, plus paracetamol and ibuprofen almost every 4 hours. Also have diazapan and tramodol and liquid morphine but only take them from time to time. I just can't stand these moving pains I think I'm going mad.

Hi Clare - For me, I'm not sure that they are moving so much. When my RA was raging, that was really all I felt. Then the RA went into remission, and the Fibro showed up. My doc wanted to know how I could not have felt the Fibro before, and I told her that my joints took center stage. With them calm, the muscles decided to let me know they are hurt too. I find that if I have a sore set of muscles and say, put Voltaren on them, others will step into the limelight. Not so much that they didn't hurt before.. just became more pronounced...

It sounds like it is really bad for you. I have a little bit of the same thing. Limited on muscle relaxers due to a Left Bundle Branch Block, tens doesn't do much and the Tramadol is weak at best, but mostly all I can take since I am allergic to Tylenol.

Take care and I hope you feel better soon... Gentle hugs!

I wondered have you ever tried Capsaicin cream prescribed from the GP? It's an extremely hot cream hotter than deep heat but I found it very beneficial although some cannot tolerate it. I would suggest a patch test if you were to consider trying it. It is made from Capsicum Peppers that is reported to naturally reduce Substance P (a substance excitable to pain) than apparently Dr Clauw says we have 3 times the amount compared to healthy individuals. Read more about the cream here;

Hope this helps

Never tried this but then never offered it! I wonder why the GP hasn't mentioned it to me? Pen x💜🤗
