Does anyone else get excessive sweating when they're cold? I am much better in this warm weather. I also wanted to know if anyone had heard of more sweating with Sjorgrens. I read something yesterday on a link that called it Autonomic Sjogrens and that because SS dries you up in other ways you can sweat in other places because of the faults in the Autonomic Nervous System. Thanks

Thanks Hazel - yes agree about the temperature regulation system. I have just spoken from someone from Sjogren's UK and they are going to send me some info. It can cause sweating apparently x

A couple of years ago I had surgery under my arm for Hidradenitis Doctor explained to me it was linked to sweating and sweat glands Before surgery it would become very painful and sometimes cause under arm bleeding. Anxiety can cause excessive sweating as was explained to me by doctor.

Mine's definitely not cause day anxiety as I've had that all my life but not the Hyperhidrosis. It may have been triggered by menopause but most people with menopause get hot flushes and not cold sweats

HRT patches haven't worked for me. I won't go on the pill ever again because it made by bp rocket and had to go to hypertensive clinic in my late teens! I may try the gel and the progesterone tablets but not sure they will be effective if the patches weren't

Only been on tablets just over a month, and so far they have made a big difference. It was a change to start a med that actually made a difference to the symptoms lol xx
