Hi

Do you ask for a copy of blood test results ? if not I would do so .GPs say their ok if within range but that can be lower or higher end of range .

So I always do research myself to make sure

Did thay do vitamins and full Thyroid Panel ?

Hi Pryja, I know how you feel, I suffer with fatigue badly too. My GP sent me for a blood test a while ago and found that I'm low on vitamin B12. I had to push him for the results as he said things were fine at first. I now have B12 injections every three months. They arent a miracle cure but they do help a bit. My advice is make another appointment to discuss the results. Good luck.

Thankyou. I have a copy of my blood test results but don't know what they all mean. I may consider taking a multi vitamin to see if that helps.

Try vitamin B Complex, I've gained my energy back since I've been on them. They contain some of the other things, like magnesium, that we're usually low on too. Hope you feel better soon.

We all get days pryja, where we feel very low down but not constantly depressed. Don't let your doc persuade you to go into antidepressants if you know you're not depressed. They have such bad side effects and can make you feel really ill if you don't really need them.

A lot of docs try to fob you off with antidepressants instead of having to go through different medications to find the right one that suits you. To them it's all about money and time, not what is the best for us.

If you get the right meds they will help and make you feel better, that way your low days will be less because you feel better in yourself. Give the B Complex time to start doing their magic, I've been taking mine for about 6 weeks before I've noticed any significant changes, now I wouldn't be without them! It's surprising how much better they've made me feel. My pain is still the same but I have much more energy and can do more before I have to stop. I careful I don't push myself too far, pacing myself is still the best way to avoid flare ups, but I can do more than I could before I had to stop. Good luck with the, let me know how you get on with them..... And don't take the antidepressants if you don't want to! Hugs.
