Hi , this is my first time here it's really good to know so many people have this problem I thought I was going mad . I suffer pain every day and need to know if anyone else does x

Hi Kazza1961 , Welcome!! Your not the only one with daily pain. ..most of us here have it!! I don't and I'm thankful but I suffer with depression more than other symptoms. I hope you like the site I'm sure you will get other replies as pain is a common issue.Take care . Peck.🐤

Thank you so much it is so comforting knowing I'm not alone I will continue to read everyone else's post to . I've just had my hospital appointment changed for the third time now have to wait until October seems so far away when you feel this way .

Hi kazza, yes I suffer with constant pain and nothing really gets rid of it, I'm on morphine daily and still in pain and so tired all the time but don't sleep properly, feels like a no win illness, but welcome and take care x

Thank you I agree my gp is says I have this illness but still waiting to have hospital appointment I have to wait now until October it's been changed 3 times now . Do they diagnose you on fist visit xx

I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are suffering and struggling and I would urge you to talk to your doctor about how you are feeling as they may be able to tweak your medication for you?

Thank you my gp I see him weekly I'm waiting for hospital appointment but it's delayed again now have to wait until October seems so far away .

Hi Kazza1961, sorry to hear you are in constant pain. It's not a very nice place to be in. I suffer with total body pain 24/7. I was diagnosed softer many tests to rule out other illnesses. They think I have total body fibromyalgia due to me having chemotherapy 7 years ago now. I've tried many drugs and for me nothing helps but I am always up for trying anything new because one day just one day it might help. In the meantime I try my best to carry on the best I can. Welcome, I hope you find the site helpful. Sharing can be very helpful. Many of us have daily, chronic pain. Some have debilitating pain. Mine is chronic and daily but I find ways of dealing with it. Narcotics don't help me and are frequently addictive. I sometimes take Ibuprofen gel caps, they don't upset my stomach as much as tablets.

You might take a little of many people's advice and see what works for you. Good luck, Nesie 237

Sorry to hear you are in constant pain. I am the same I take morphine and gabapentonhope. I just try to keep going I was out yesterday for my son's birthday but he has schizophrenia which has its own worries. Good luck.

Think positively is a key to a less painful day.

A good thing is to stick your head at least outdoors once a day. Although pain is nasty immobility is worst .We have all heard of 'use it or lose it' it is very apt for chronic health conditions. If you feel you can manage a support group on fma site there is a drop down menu to find a group nearest you also helplines are run from many groups.

The best things in life are laughter and love. I get more pleasure from laughing at my silly toy dogs than watching comedy TV. We all have some 'family' those are the ones to love as they love and support back .Finally do not worry or feel guilty about getting diagnosed with Fibro. Some media think it does not exist as do some medics!

Hi no your not alone I also live in chronic pain 24/7 I stay up late as scarred to go to bed as I wake almost paralysed every day severe back, thigh and knee pain it takes me til midday most days to get going after taking zapain and usingfreeze gel I am so sad right now I want the old me back take care joanne x.

Welcome, I am sort of new, also. Oh, yes, pain and then pain in unexpected areas. I have found community here with the other members. I do not feel all alone. Fatigue, pain,and sadness . But we are here to help, answer questions and ask questions. Some days - not sure where to turn. But we will survive.

Welcome to the site. Yes unfortunately I have daily pain it varies in intensity but us always there. When I have a flare it is nigh on unbearable and other times just about tolerable. Meds help but normally only take the edge off it. Look forward to your future posts.x
