Morning all feeling less stressed today after having my f2f medical yesterday,but got to say did have a nice young doctor who seemed to be well clued up on fibromyalgia don't know if that was a good thing or not, never actually gave me a physical exam , and concentrated more on fibro than my other illnesses was going through tablets and the effects they have on me etc how I cope day to day and then she turned round and said think I've got enough here I'll just check with the manager, she left the room for a few minutes came back and said yes we have enough information I'll send in my report you will hear 4/6 weeks. Relieved it was over was glad to get home headache pain all over had something to eat and went to bed worn out....and havnt slept .....trying to keep an open mind and not worry about results but can't seem to get it of my mind why she wasn't asking about other problems ....sorry for going on

Good morning towie1, I am so pleased to hear your assessment went well and you are now feeling less stressed. Hope you don't have to wait long for your decision. Rest up now and try not to worry, I know that's easier said than done.😀

Well at least that's done and dusted and out the way. I have never attended one of these so don't know the drill but maybe the doctor didn't ask about other problems because she thought your fibro and how it affected you was more than enough? I know it's easy for me to say but there is nothing more you can do for now so try not to fret about it too much. Good luck and take care. x

Thankyou Ramjets. Yes I'm hoping the fibro was more than enough so I'll try not to fret and just wait see what happens x

Thankyou rosewine I am pleased its over that's I know its silly getting worked up about these things I think everyone does it , just because you look OK people think your fine they don't know what you go through on a daily basis , 1 of my 4 sons actually called me lazy the other week being as he don't live at home anymore my 18 year old son who's lives with me gave him a right mouthful telling him exactly what I'm like mood swings feeling hopeless exhausted all time etc . I'd be lost without him he's just started an aporenticeship up every day at 5am does everything in the house that I can't manage even cooking at night when he gets back don't get me wrong he does have a moan now and again but so different from his older brother.. Will let you know how it all goes x

Bless him! I’ve had the same at my medicals, it’s a good sign I think, they think the one illness is enough and focus on that. Don’t worry! Let us know the outcome😊
