I hope you are all as well as can be. Just to let you all know I had my ESA f2f assessment this morning. I must admit I had been very stressed about it whilst awaiting for this day to arrive. I was also extremely nervous whilst waiting to be seen, but I must admit I was seen by a very lovely lady who helped to put me at ease a little bit. She went through a whole load of questions with me about my health and conditions (I have widespread osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia). During this stage she had noted that I was in obvious pain and she said normal going on she would do a physical examination/test but could tell that I wouldn't be able to do the majority of it and that just trying would of put me unnecessarily in even more pain. Therefore she decided it was in my best interest not to do the physical.
She said ultimately that she doesn't make the decision for if I will or wont get awarded ESA but that she is going to write up the report and add her professional opinion to it also.
Now it's just a waiting game once again to see if i will be awarded it or if i will have to appeal

I think that it could be a good sign that they did not do the physical examination. On my ESA I only did a couple of the upper body tests at that point the assessor stopped as it was totally obvious that I was in pain. I was placed in the support group.
