Hi all. I mentioned the other week that I finally got my pip letter back and they have given me standard rate not enhanced which on dla I was higher rate mobility. Didn't ask why they gave me standard rate incase they took it off me. Thought that was it could relax now. But no letter came yesterday for esa got to fill in form and go through this now and fill out the mammoth questionnaire, too reapply for it. So now got this to stress and worry about. God if the pip form wasn't stressful enough now got this one to stress me about. 🤔😡

Yes I,m sure they do this to discourage many from applying once you,ve done it before,, I have kept a word document detailing how all my illnesses affect me daily and i print it out and put "see attached" on the relevant questions, it had been accepted like that on 2 ocassions.

I hear you. I had esa medical march. Nothing back for 2 months. So called up and said oh still with accessor. Next day dreaded brown letter. They stopped my esa. No points zero. Im so upset sock off having to repeat yourself over and over again. So had to send off a letter of reconciliation. Still no word back. No income so living on my pip for now. Been a month without esa.

Oh no that's not good for you. How long does the assessor need don't think from March till now, funny how you phoned up and then you get a letter. Good job that you've got your pip money to keep you going or you'd of been in a right pickle.. I hope it doesn't take too long for you to get a date for your appeal.I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Keep me updated on how you get on. Sending hugs your way. Xx😀

For PIP the inability to walk 50 metres gets you Standard Rate. On DLA, it got you the Upper Rate. For Enhanced Rate on PIP you must now be unable to walk 20 metres.

If your ESA is a review, then as long as you don't indicate that you have got a lot worse or better, you may avoid another face-to-face with an assessor. If it is a fresh claim, you will definitely get assessed at an interview. If you cannot walk 50 metres, that is a reason to be put in the ESA Support Group, so check your PIP award letter for why you got Standard Rate. If it was due to the 50 metres, make sure you say that on the forms, everywhere you can and tell them about fatigue, falls, having to stop to rest and so on to really reinforce the point.

They done the same with me and then expected me to go for another medical another month later I am sure it's to try and beat us down to we give in take your time feel in the form in your time explaine how feeling this forms in really dose not help you and wen they do want you to go for a medical try and get them to come to you get as much paper work backing from every one and hope they finally leave you alone well at least for another year lol the hole thing is a joke why can they not all work together and believe all the experts they have dealt with your case they have far more knowledge than the people that make these decisions that have got no medical back grounds wish you the best of luck and hope it works out for you don't let the idiots bother u x

Thankyou for that. Yeah I think you are right with your thinking. Maybe it's to try and flush the ones out that are not genuine. It's draining and stressful which makes us feel worse.

Thankyou everyone. Its a miserable time for me. Still nothing back. Ive only sent off a letter asking for the decision to be looked at again because it was all lies that made them make the decision in the first place. The accessor was very ignorant person. If a letter comes back saying they aren't changing they're decision of being placed in fit for work group then ill need to put an appeal in. Im in receipt of pip. I get enhanced rate for daily living and standard for help with getting out and about. Only time i go out is to dr n hospital appointments my daughter is Always with me and she helps do everything i cant in and around my home. Ill keep yous posted if i hear back. Thankyou all x

I really hope you get them to look at your claim again. I think it's absolutely disgusting that they think they can lie like that. I wonder if they'd like people lying about them in such a way. They shouldn't be assessors if that is the way they deal with people. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Xx🌝
