Restless legs
Probably the worst of all issues with having Fybro with out a doubt. I have suffered from RLS for some time before I even knew what Fybro was. I am still working through the list of remedies. Hot bath with Epson slats etc. seems to be popular. Diet also helps. good evidence that something in your diet might be aggravating the RLS. Keep researching and best of luck.
I get out of bed, stand at the bannister at the top of our stairs and with feet shoulder width apart, raise up onto my balls of feet and hold for slow count of five, then go down (in a controlled way) for a count of five and repeat. Do this for about a minute or so. Go and get a drink of chocolate milk, play a stupid mind bogglingly boring game on my laptop and then go back to bed.
My GP has always prescribed me a few valium to keep in for when I am having really bad times, but I very rarely use these (I've had restless legs since I was a child and they gave out valium like smarties). If I take 3 or 4 throughout the whole year, that is about as much as I ever take.
Yeh this is great for it, i have to do stretches about 3 times a day and just before bed and it kinda stretches all ur muscles fibres out and stops the little electric current which causes the restlessness ....
honestly it works, just google legs stretches and just stand on tip toes for couple mins before bed
Sorry if this is a stupid Q but how does restless legs feel like?
Thanks just wondered I should know about it, for if it should strike, I will recognise it.
I take Pramipaxole form the G.P. It really helps. My restless legs also include my back and arms. Its saldy common in Fibro.
I also take my Magnesium and Malic acid after dinner before bed and vitamin D
