Jen1112 , You can drink some tonic water it contains quinine. Quinine is the key to helping stop RLS and unless you have a 24 hour pharmacy this is probably the best thing for tonight. I've heard stretching although painful will help.Good luck.Peck.🐤

Hi my friend

I would talk to your doctor about this issue as there are medications that they can give you to hep counteract the symptoms of RLS.

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Masturbation,,,Yes that's what I said! I have read a number of articles, and tried it. Orgasm releases Dopamine which people with Fibromyalgia are often short of.

By the way it has worked.

Tried magnesium, tonic water, mastutb.... er, relaxation ... only thing working for me is Low Dose Naltrexone and vitamin B12 injections.

Hi I suffered with RLS syndrome for over 20 and believe me it gets worse and worse mine is now in the severe category . Quinine sulphate was great at first but after a while I was increasing dose and sometimes taking 3 300 mg every night. I started getting it in my arms as well it was horrendous . I am now on a Parkinson's medication which helps with fibromyalgia and the relief is amazing , I have to take 2 every evening to keep it at bay, but thank god for It. Go see your doctor . Hope this can help people that suffer from RLS.

Hi Yolzy One medication you could talk to your doctor about is called ''Baclofen'' and this is used greatly in the treatment of RLS. Good luck :)

Sorry one more question, I just found it in my cupboard and remember it made me throw up..mine is called Simipex 1, but it has hydrochloride monohydrate. Why would I throw up in it? Does yours have the other ingredients I just mentioned? Thanks

I've suffered with RLS for ages, and although taking Quinine and Magnesium, I have found the only thing to give me relief is using a Tens machine with the pads on my legs (either upper or lower, depending on where the sensations are worst).

Epsom salts in bath, magnesium oil to run into legs and feet and for long term vitamin d, helps with spams and muscle aches. Good luck

I have what could be classed as RLS. The cold helps, but I also take 50mg of Amitryptiline. This has helped immensely x

I was given quinne tablets which worked straight away. Months later the doc stopped then,, seemingly it had a bad effect on the eyes. I an okay with them now as long as I do not drink lager. Gives cramps like I never had before.
