Well first of all breathe. It's not the end of the world believe it or not. A lot of what happens to you from here on out is in your own control I believe. Continue to exercise. That's the best advice anyone can give you. Start if you don't already. Just walk that's fine. Push yourself but don't hurt yourself. I think the more you tell yourself you're normal the more you will feel like your normal and the more you tell yourself you are a victim of this disease you will be a victim of this disease. I've been dealing with it for years and that's my opinion. The best thing to do is be prepared for people to not understand that don't have it... I wish I had not told as many people as I have. Sometimes I feel like they see me as an invilid and they don't treat me the same exactly. They make excuses for me and I don't think that's a good thing bless their hearts.

Do your homework... Keep up with the latest advances on FM, take a lot of hot baths, de-stress, de-istress, de-stress. Keep moving. Cut yourself some slack on the days you can't do things. The worst part of this disease is the things we tell ourselves when we can't do things. We're hard on ourselves.

Things don't come on all at once with this though... Nothing's going to hit you from behind with no warning, so just take a breath, smile and keep your sense of humor. And we'll be here to hold your hand and offer a shoulder to cry on when nobody else can understand.

You'll find good support and advice here x
