NOT HAPPY HURT..PAIN..
Oh Bob a job
What a grim experience! What was the prognosis were the six injections pain relief. Did it work are you more at ease today? How long should it last/ so many questions sorry but I have often wondered if it was an option. You did sound as though it was pretty grim and I have enough pain already. Do take care of your self today b very gentle . Gentle hug from me.
best wishes

I had these into my ribcage. 20 injections around me. It was hell, then I had a severe allergic reaction to them. I swelled like the michellin tyre man, sweating, oral thrush, palpitations, pain was tripled etc etc. Then consultant said I couldn't possibly be allergic to them and wanted to do it again! Thankfully gp stepped in and said no!
Stand up to consultant as much as you can, if not your gp can help.
Good luck

Hi bobajob
I am cowering with the mere fear of even the thought of it
I find all injections and blood tests painful no matter where they are on the body so can imagine how uncomfortable that this process has been for you.
I agree with the others about taking it easy today and talking to your GP about it and then speaking to your consultant as planned when you see him. I truly hope there is a different way for you that works on reducing your pain
Sending soft healing fluffie hugs to you and hope you feel a bit better soon

Oh bobajob I'm feeling your pain as i've said before the pain clinic does what it says, causes pain!!!
I'm due for another session of acupuncher (sorry about the spelling got foggy head) on friday but it's so painful my body seems to get electric shocks when she puts the needles in, its so bad that she has to remove them straight away so this time i'm going to ask if this is really the correct treatment for me??????
Gentle hugs to you and i hope your pain settles down soon. viv xxx

Sweetheart have you tried a pain clinic? I take Opana ER and it has saved my life so that the pain is bearable. Hope this helps!!! I tried nerve blocker injections and it didn't help and was painful. xxx Mitzi
