Ha, Who needs facebook ????!!!

Hello everyone, I don't know about you, but I never got into the whole facebook thing. Mainly because, I don't really do computers, and/or anything tech. I leave all of that to the other half, and our son who is 12. But something strange happened to me when I discovered this wonderful place,..... where there are other people who have the same feelings as me , and that those people understand pain and what it entails. I have suddenly become annoyed when I can't get to the computer when I want.That waiting for Ben to finish a game, or Chris doing work, makes me irritated. BLIMEY !! I never thought I'd see the day ! I still havn't got into the facebook stuff, because I have my new friends on here. Also I don't think I'd make enough time to do both ,and do all my chores!! ha ha. My typing skills still take a bit of time, and mistakes are a plenty , but am proud of myself to have finally attempted to join the modern world!! [ computers were just coming in as I was leaving school] My work as a florist didn't need computers. So, my son is amazed at my new found interest , and teases me about my lack of computer knowledge..... but as long as I can access you guys, that's enough for me. enjoy the rest of the day everyone, luv"n"hugs Mandy .xxxx

Well done Mandy. I don't know what I would do without this place to meet and share. I don't do the whole facebook thing as I have seen so many people distressed by what is said or implied on there. At least on here we can vent our frustrations and share our joy with other like minded folk. May your computer skills continue to improve and give you enjoyment

Thanks Dinkie, I really feel like we've all got a connection together. As you say, I too have heard many people have upset within facebook . Why do some people go on there and be mean to each other. life's too short . I was always told, growing up ,that if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all ! I know my mum and dad taught me well, and that's what I've passed on to my son too. I am so glad to have found a place to jibber jabber on !! I hope it doesn't rain, I've just put some washing out....but those flippin clouds are gathering again??? Must keep an eye out ! I will try and keep my computer skills going. ta ta for now, Mandy xxxx

Its a god send.I agree☺ no one worries about typing an spelling on here.they understand me.an im rubbish!!.I never got the Facebook thing,all the greif it causes some peeps! Like you say life's too short.just stick with us☺ you will be wanting your own comp or tablet soon x

I couldn't agree more, my kids ( ha kids I say 29,32 and 35 years) are always falling out over facebook, I just cannot see the point. I know I can come on here speak when I want, listen when I don't and know it is always warm and helpful either way.
