Have you seen the latest item going about on facebook about advice about what to do when bringing in your bins. Wear gloves, wash hands etc....

Do not know about other people but I tend to wash my hands after bringing the bin in and tend not to touch my face while doing as it is a bin!!!!!!! Tend not to lick them either......

Yes,I would have thought it was obvious too but there are many people who don't wash their hands when going to the loo either which I cannot understand. My brother and also my son would come in drunk , wash hands, brush teeth and go to bed fully clothed 🤣😂

Take care and stay safe Lynne

Yes mine had a good bleach/soapy wash out last week , top and handle as well, the broom came in handy and yes a good hand wash after, something I always do, did read some news that the bin men said there was so much food thrown away last week that had gone out of date through panic buying what a waste and very selfish as NHS and elderly were struggling to get food, Shame, on a different note well done to the massive response from the government for people to sign up and volunteer, husband is doing 2 part days volunteering delivering in my car to the elderly for the local pharmacy who driver walked away so hats off to anybody giving their time .

When are bin is emptied, a bin washer comes around with a high powered spray to clean and disinfect the bin.☺☺

Wish they did that in my area. I have to do it myself

It's great you could eat your dinner off it, although I wouldn't 😂😂 It smells like spring as well, all for 3 pound. ☺☺☺

I have a wheelie bin washer too. I have made it the norm to wash hands after everything like picking up the post and opening it, hanging out the washing etc.. cant be too careful xx stay safe everyone

I totally agree, also been doing that for years too. Isn’t it amazing how many stupid people are around us. I have always washed my plastic milk containers in my sink the minute I get home from shopping before putting them in my fridge.

I believe it’s called common sense, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of it around these days.

Yeah ... There's so much similar going around that just simple common sense, and makes you think is that not what a normal person would do anyways.

We also have a wheeliebin cleaner who comes round and does all the bins.
