Hi Milton2328
it is always best to ask your doctor for a blood test prior to taking any vitamin supplements as you may not need them, and overdosing can cause harm. However, the *Vitamin D Council:
.
*Vitamin D3 is the type of vitamin D made in the body. ... Diffuse back pain related to vitamin D deficiency is often diagnosed as fibromyalgia. Raising vitamin D blood levels reduces that type of pain.
.
The **lifescript website says, (but again ti is best to talk to your doctor prior to taking any):
**top 6 supplements for relieving fibro pain and other symptoms.
Vitamin D. The “sunshine vitamin” isn't only good for building bones. ...
Fish Oil. ...
SAMe. ...
Ribose. ...
Magnesium. ...
Brown Seaweed Extract.
.
I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
Hi Milton2328 I agree with TheAuthor please do seek advice from your GP.
Is is much better to get advice.
Good luck my friend
Greek yoghurt or any natural yogurt is the best for you.xx
Try to avoid the little bottles that tell you they so good for gut health but are full of sugar. Natural yoghurt is best . Make sure it is the live type.

Google Search "kefir or kefir grains" it's the best probiotic in a natural form, I make my own. Thier is some websites who sell freshly made water or milk kefir. Problem with vitamins is that we usually urinate 70% out, however I still take lots vitamins.

Bravo Yogurt is expensive, and you have to make your own, but it really is wonderful..
I use Bio Kult probiotic. I only take 1 a day and it works for me. I am prescribed Vit D3 even in summer because I have a low count. I also take a good B complex with an added b12 methylcolbamin every other day and magnesium spray when my muscles hurt. I get my blood tested regularly to make sure Im on the right tracks and I am still trying to get things right but so far these are working for me. Every one is different and you have to find what works for you. Good luck. hugs Joolz.x
Thank you all for the advice has anyone ever used malic acid I've read a few articles on it but I'm not unsure whether to give it a go x
Health studies have proven that vitamins and supplment or herbal aids, do not help with people with fibro. Recomadations are as standard accross the board take 1 multi vitamin a day and nothing else if vitamins are low, are not getting them via food. As Ken stated earlier worth while getting a blood test done and ask also for a Vitamin B12 test with it as this is not tested as standard. Probally come back like most of Fibro patients Vitamin D and Vitamin B6 are low.
