I make sure I take vitamin d, magnesium and a high strength b complex. Some say tumeric is good and CBD but I personally didn't experience any benefit.

Good luck 😊

Thanks I've just got some tumeric and b12 along with vitamin D and I read coQ10. I will let you know how I get on.

Coenzyme Q10 helped me with the aching in my calf muscles but took at least 6 weeks to help. I make sure I take a good multi vitamin. I also take Vitamin D as being very fair skinned I can't take too much exposure to the sun. Do try and eat as healthily as you can which I know is easier said than done when we get so tired as vitamins obtained from food are far superior to anything in a jar. Others have found he.p with magnesium spray. Good luck 8n finding something that helps.

I too found no help from turmeric all it did was upset my stomach as did CBD.x

If you buy turmeric as a spice at an Indian market -- it's fresh and cheap there -- and add a bit to the food you cook, you may find it doesn't upset your stomach.

Hi Nikki,

you could do a search on supps by clicking not on Search HealthUnlocked but on "Posts" and then "Search posts on Fibromyalgia UK".

Two posts of mine from 10 months ago are

healthunlocked.com/fibromya...

healthunlocked.com/fibromya...

In the meantime I've tried about 50 supps, found the best of each of these, and use about 25-30 daily, for fibro but "also" for fatigue, MCAS, lipids and inflammation. The ones mentioned by others here and in my two posts are the most commonly used ones, some details about what to watch for in my posts above. Aside from turmeric the other anti-inflammatory spices like ginger, pepper, capsaicin... are often recommended, if you can stomach them - I can't. Next in line, for energy, would be L-carnitine or ALC (not both together), perhaps (together with?) also ALA (lipoic acid).

If you want to go beyond that the thing is what exactly you need it for. Please ask if interested.... :-)
