Virtual colonoaspy

Well I thought I would be a bit clearer on my tummy pains and reoccurring diarrhoea. No! Got to have a colonoaspy and biopsies on 3.2.17 as my latest virtual colonoscopy didn't show my bowel wall or lining. So no clearer. I know I have diverticulier pouches.

Have a great day everyone!

Thank you, so petrified of the colonoscopy, I thought the virtual colonoaspy was bad enough. Xx

What a pity you have to wait for answers. Everyone I have known who has had one (the OH has to have one every 3 years as he has polyps grow in his colon) says the mixture you have to drink the day beforehand is actually the worse bit. Everyone has always said that the staff have been great. You will need to have someone take you there and bring you back. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Definitely agree the prep stuff was the worst part for me, that and the rather fetching paper shorts with back flap, I hope all goes well for you xx

Not something to look forward to but has to be done.I have had 3 colonoscopys. First found diverticulitis. Thought all pain after that was that but it got worse so had 2nd.On warfarin etc so had to have 3rd as found polyps.Yes it's true about bowel prep but first one didn't empty bowel good so opted for different kind.My main problem was poor info from department as told not to take my night before and that mornings medications. This resulted in huge headache with drug withdrawal and I collapsed in waiting room so now have to go through it all again.

Staff wonderful thou so you will be well looked after.
