Doing OK

Hey gang tiz, me . Just thought I'd let you all know I'm doing as the Dr. says to and it seems to be helping. I'm using a tens unit on my muscles. a tens unit is what therapists uses and it sends little electrical jolts to the area. I bought one and use it under a nice warm blanket. I seems to behelping as I fall asleep with it on. I only have it going on low for 60 minutes. As was recommended by the therapist . Now I'm doing better then I have been. No I still can't walk far but that's OK . im building up some muscles in my legs but very slowly. So for me tiz all good news.

I'm glad you are doing better & it's so nice to get some good news. Tens machine is like my little life line & if it's not in my pocket, it on my back buzzing away lol.

Peace, luv n light

Gorgeous flowers! !!

And great job on taking your body into your own hands as I like to think of it. I hate not being in control of myself so I guess it just makes me feel better to say it that way. :)

Slowly improving is the only way when you have fibro. Trust me, I have learned the hard way. Slowly is not an easy way for me to approach things, I definitely fall within the all or nothing type. :)

Anyways. You are doing wonderful, you are building muscle.

Do you stretch? If not you should try it after your walks, it will probably help further your progress along. The mother site has some wonderful advice on stretching . Take it slowly- of course. :)

Have a great day! ×××
