Hello all. after 6 weeks in hospital undergoing a heart bypass I am so glad to say I am back to the land of the living. I had severe reservations and doubts about my operation and I was right in that during the procedure I suffered major complications and was placed on life support for the period of 8 days during which I experienced some very horrible nasty dreams that I would not like to go through again
The D'rs told me they were as a result of the strength of the pain killers I was given. but boy were they bad.I was so desperate to get home and I maybe told them I was more fit than I was just to get back home for my own sanity.
I lay in bed for the first 8 days back home like I was dying and feeling very sorry for myself but gradually I have improved and now I am just waiting to hear from the cardiology physio team regarding an opening for me to attend one of their courses.
My health has improved 100% and I no longer feel breathless just doing every day normal chores. Just wanted to say "it is nice to be alive and well" and I hope you are all feeling as well as you can be??
Have a super day. Kind regards Ian :>)))))))

Hi Heliboy911 , I'm glad your surgery is over and you are home. The dreams your having could have been caused by the anesthesia. Before becoming disabled I worked for Greenville Anesthesiology and have heard others say this as anesthesia does things yo you that your body and mind are in no way use to.Take care and I hope all continues to go well and the dreams stop. Be blessed. Peck.🐤
