Kidney area pain on both sides

Hi all has anyone felt like they have had a right good kicking in the kidney area and both sides?? It's unbearable lying down but very uncomfortable just sitting??

Sick of feeling sick!!! 😒😒😒😒

Hi Macberts yes I get this a lot. I have to have heat to help it, heat pad or hot water bottle but if you are feeling sick, it sounds more like kidney infection. I have constant back pain, spasms & whenever it's cold, its worse but I don't feel sick with it.

Oh sorry lol I interpreted that as you were physically feeling sick..hmmm maybe or maybe not. I would definitely check out with GP because a lot of medication can effect your kidneys. This is the hard thing with Fibro, it causes so many symptoms but they can also be some thing else and its easy to put all ailments down to Fibro & sometimes it's not, but we tend to let thing get worse before going to doctors.

So funny not long after I wrote this I started feeling nauseas now in bed thinking propped up feeling a bit dizzy and certainly sick 😷😷😷😷💩💩💩💩

Oh no, you spoke to soon Grrrrrr I would deffo get a sample to GP for testing then, cos that's all the symptoms of an infection 😷😵😫 can you check your temperature, because it will be slightly higher if it is infection

Oh no, not good, can't you get to see your doctor as emergency or maybe nurse at surgery ?

I will phone tomorrow If I am still the same ! I am so sick of going to the doctors I love my own doc but because he is that good it's hard to get an app!

If you have a kidney infection you need to see your GP today, best not to delay, could also be kidney stones which can cause major problems.

Unfortunately you have to phone at 8 in the morning to get an app, will phone in morning xx

If you are desperate call 111 out of hours service or go to your local minor injuries unit.

Hi, feeling this type of pain right now so you have my sympathy.

However in my case it is most likely caused by infection because although I had no pain like this last Thursday I had thought my urine smelled a bit so took a sample to gp surgery.

The nurse rang me later and said there was infection and they were sending sample for more testing at hospital lab, results expected today then they will give appropriate meds.

Over the weekend the pain has developed and I feel quite ill.

Maybe worth getting a sample checked ?

Hope you soon feel better. On top of fm who needs more !
